Wigwascence outpost is truly a first class experience in the Canadian wilderness. This camp boasts several traditional log buildings that includes 2 sleep cabins, one of which sleeps eight guests and the other four. Both these cabins are furnished with hand made log furniture and only one bunk bed in each bedroom. These bunks have a double on the bottom and single on the top which are ideal for couples. There is a separate dining cabin with a large deck overlooking the lake. This is a very popular set up for those groups who like to enjoy themselves late into the evening when others can retire to their cabin. Another popular activity enjoyed at Wigwascence is the wood fired sauna. The sauna is far enough away from the sleep cabins so you will not disturb others.
Every building including the dining hall is supplied by solar power. Hot and cold running water is supplied to all the showers via a water tower. For your fishing experience, we have 14’ Lund boats powered by 15hp motors. All of the boats are further equipped with swivel seats with backrests for your comfort.
This outpost also has a staff cabin that can accommodate a cook and a dock hand which gives us the ability to offer an American plan package for your group. (please inquire for more details).
Wigwascence Lake is approx. 7 miles long located on the Pineimuta River system. This lake is 70 air miles north of Pickle Lake. It is well known for trophy Walleye and Northerns.
Are you a corporation or business looking for a place to take your top employee’s? Look no further. This outpost is fully supplied by solar and by diesel generator power that enables us to offer all the facilities required to hold a vacation/work holiday.
